Scuba diving is a form of underwater diving where the diver uses a self-contained underwater breathing apparatus (scuba) to breathe underwater.
Free diving is a form of underwater diving where the diver holds their breath rather than using scuba gear.
The main difference between scuba diving and free diving is that scuba divers use tanks of compressed air to breathe underwater, whereas free divers hold their breath.
